Find out how many SIM cards are being used in your name, and how you can block those SIMs

if any other person is not using SIM card in your name, then in this case the Department of Telecom has revealed a portal site. In which false SIM card information is received. Illegally declared SIM cards have long been a challenge for cardholders as well as the government. To overcome this challenge, the Department of Telecom has created a special portal. Through this portal they can know that no one has used your mobile number without their consent and if another SIM card has been revealed in your name, you can block it.

According to the existing government guidelines, a maximum of 9 mobile connections are declared in the name of one person. If a person has been disclosed more than 9 mobile numbers, action may be taken against them if the telecom department gets information in this regard.

How to check your number

1 To know about your number misuse, first login to the portal (https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in/alert.php).
2 Then you have to upload your mobile number. The OTP will then be dropped.
3 The customer will then receive an SMS from the telecom department informing them that there is an active connection in their name.

4 Users are then notified of a number they do not know can send a request to block it.
5 One more ticket ID will be sent from the department after requesting, so you can track it.
